NEW LOOK FOR BRAINSAVVY BOARD GAME

January 10, 2010 Posted in Brain Savvy Classroom Edition | by Brain Savvy

NEW LOOK FOR BRAINSAVVY GAMEBOARD. All BrainSavvy Magnetic Classroom Edition gameboards now have new artwork. This new art replaces the original version of the game track. There are more spaces for brainstorming and it has a more modern appearance. If anyone would like any of the original gameboards, we have those in stock and would happily sell them to you for $5 each, plus you pay shipping (approx $6-$8 for 1 because they are quite heavy due to the magnetic material.) It costs virtually the same to ship two as it does a dozen, so if you are ordering extra gameboards, please contact us directly, via email, to determine shipping costs. Thanks.

Research shows BrainSavvy increases creativity

Posted in CREATIVITY - BrainSavvy Increase | by Brain Savvy

Research Based: Brain Savvy was originally developed in 1989 as part of a study to increase the creative thinking of older adults. Our research, which was published in Kathy Goff’s doctoral dissertation, demonstrated that brainstorming significantly increased the creativity and life satisfaction of adults who used Brain Savvy when compared to those who did not use it (Goff, 1992; Goff, 1993).
