I was at this Alternative Ed Conference and a guy walked by and said

“That game should be used in every class in America! The last 10 minutes of class - the teacher should play BrainSavvy to review what she has just taught.”

BrainSavvy – Magnetic Teaching Tool

Includes:
· Magnetic board to display along with Team brain pawn magnets
· Colored sorting chips for randomly sorting a class into “long-term” teams (manipulatives)
· Two dice – one with numbers and one with colors (tools/manipulatives)
· Colored markers for coloring in the ribbons on the dry-erase BrainSavvy Track with the winning/leading team color

This activity was first utilized with a college course in Aging and Lifelong Learning. One of the texts was on counseling older adults with all the many changes and issues both with family members and with getting older.
