Some of us are entrepreneurs, choosing to live by the feast and famine cycles of work. Others of us have only thought about being more entrepreneurial, thinking about making some extra income, engaging in a hobby more seriously, or running our own businesses. These innovative ideas encourage positive perceptions of our abilities. They fuel us to imagine that we can be doing what we love. If we are doing what we love, then thinking entrepreneurially stimulates positive future images.

Sometimes we get so involved in a problem, dilemma or situation, that we forget to use our imaginations to find a new or different solution. Finding good ideas sometimes requires removing ourselves from the situation and doing something to get our minds off of it. That’s when the AHA experience occurs, when we are taking a break and letting our subconscious find a solution while the conscious mind is occupied with something else.

Collaboration involves sharing responsibilities, with each team member being equal and contributing to the process. People learn about themselves in collaborations. They learn to identify each other’s strengths and talents as well as increase self-esteem by sharing and achieving a common goal.
