Creativity is facilitated by a healthy sense of change. Change is like a mobile. Change one part and the mobile is out of balance which only means that the old balance has been disturbed and there is new balancing to do. These political and economic times are about change and the need for creativity.

Humor is creative. We listen as we are led down a path to a surprise ending - a change in thinking. Humor weakens the bonds of conformity, allowing for spontaneous and flexible behavior. People use humor as survival techniques and as healing forces. Humor serves the social function of promoting group membership and helps us deal with awkward moments in a positive or memorable way, such as uncontrollably laughing at a wedding or a funeral.
