BrainSavvy - How To Play

First post the gameboard onto a metal surface for all to see. Then select the team brain pawns to use. Try to have at least 3-4 players per team. Can be used with up to 36 players.
How to Play the Game:
Sort your group with the sorting chips. Each player is assigned to a team and is given a number. Write this on the Team Roster.
When someone answers a question correctly, their team pawn gets moved a space.
It’s fun. It’s easy.
(With the BrainSavvy Digital Edition, the game is the same only virtual. Players touch the screen to move their team brain pawns…more info on How To Play on Smartboards on the Digital Edition Page)
BrainSavvy is a simple way to turn subjects such as vocabulary, math, or any type of review, into a competitive game. Put the BrainSavvy gameboard up, and immediately, everyone’s attention is focused. That’s why when you are using the Magnetic Classroom Edition, it’s advisable to post it on a small portable display board (sold separately).
BrainSavvy can be used as a brainstorming activity to improve creative thinking. To play as a brainstorming game, use the 1-minute sand timer. (or if playing on a SMART Board (or any brand of electronic whiteboard), use a timer from their toolbox). Simply split your group into two teams. Ask each team a question to brainstorm. Have them move their team brain one space for each answer.
Brainstorming questions are posted on the BrainSavvy blog page.
